Reviewing sites for Mineros de Parral news

As baseball aficionado I’m always looking for news about baseball I don’t care if it is Major League Baseball, Fantasy Baseball, or the “Estatal de Beisbol de Chihuahua”, my natal state baseball league.

But being this far away from the games it is really hard to stay in touch with the state championships until this year that finally in the last couple months I found these two sites about the “Mineros de Parral” or “La Furia Gris” any way you like it.

www.minerosdeparral.com and www.parral.com.mx, they have news about the schedule, past games and standings and the last one even has streaming audio (I haven’t tried yet) so I will be able to even listen to the games this year.

As a side note, they may have the content and they may be updated frequently but I have to let you know that the designs look like an old-fashioned style, one with huge ugly buttons as the only way to navigate and not current information; and the other one with heavy and crappy graphics, kind of a portal with non organized modules and a weird notion on HCI and site navigation.

Any way critics aside I’m really happy because Parral is in the center of the information age now, hope that their sites mature soon and congratulations to the people involved in those sites.
